Business Credit Card Branson: We have no plans at this stage to fly to Saudi Arabia and Dubai from Manchester but Virgin Atlantic is always looking at new route opportunities.

Virgin Atlantic has proved to be a great platform for further investment in the past, South Africa being the perfect example of this, and I am sure this will be true for Dubai in the future.

Credit Guide Managing Branson: I visited The World and The Palm when I was in Dubai and the scale and ambition of the project is phenomenal. Dubai leads the world in these kinds of innovative projects.

Credit Card Offer BTN: Why the new focus on business passengers? Most people think that Virgin is more about fun-loving leisure travellers than stiff executives, so how do you expect to achieve this?

We are founder members of the Sustainable Aviation initiative and together with our sister company, Virgin Holidays, have already launched several initiatives.
